Usually, you tell me where you want to go and I plan the trip around it. Curated Escapes work a little differently.
You give me your dates, budget, travel style, and a few preferences. I choose the destination and plan the getaway for you.
If you want to travel but do not want to make all the decisions, or you just want to add a little mystery to the experience, Curated Escapes were made for you.

How does a Curated Escape work?
You choose your dates, budget, travel style, interests, and must-haves. I choose the destination, stay, and details based on what you love. You receive packing guidance, clues, and reveal instructions without spoiling the destination.
Who is this for?
Curated Escapes are currently designed for solo travelers and couples only.
How far in advance should I book?
Curated Escapes require a minimum of 14 days between booking and departure. Earlier booking is always encouraged, especially for weekends, holidays, and peak travel seasons.
How long does planning take?
Once your planning fee and completed traveler questionnaire are received, please allow approximately 5–7 business days for your escape to be designed.
What does the trip budget cover?
The trip budget is the amount available for the travel components themselves, such as lodging, required hotel fees, prepaid experiences, and reservation deposits.
What does the planning fee cover?
The planning fee is separate from your trip budget and covers destination research, trip design, booking coordination, itinerary creation, and the reveal experience.
Are meals included in the trip budget?
Usually not. Unless a restaurant requires a prepaid deposit or reservation fee, meals are paid separately by the traveler. I can still make dining reservations and recommend options that fit your preferred dining budget.
What kinds of hotels do you use?
I prioritize well-reviewed, clean, safe, distinctive properties that feel worthy of a special getaway. Boutique, historic, resort-style, and especially well-located hotels are preferred when they fit the destination and budget.
Can I choose the style of hotel I prefer?
Yes. You can tell me whether you prefer charming and comfortable, upscale boutique, luxury, historic, modern, resort-style, or another style.
Can I tell you places I do not want to go?
Yes. Your traveler questionnaire will include must-haves, hard no’s, hotel preferences, interests, and destinations you want to avoid.
How much will I know before the trip?
You will know your travel dates, approximate driving distance, packing guidance, and any important instructions. The destination itself stays a surprise until your reveal.
Can one person know the destination while the other stays surprised?
Yes. This works especially well for birthdays, anniversaries, and partner surprises. One person can act as the secret keeper while the other remains surprised.
Can both travelers be surprised?
Yes, although supplier charges, confirmation emails, or credit card alerts may occasionally reveal clues. I will help preserve as much of the surprise as possible.
Can this be a gift?
Absolutely. A Curated Escape can be gifted for birthdays, anniversaries, romantic surprises, celebrations, or simply because someone deserves a getaway.
Can I book a Solo Reset?
Yes. Solo Reset is designed around one traveler and can be planned as either a close-to-home escape or a road-trip reset.
What if I have dietary restrictions or accessibility needs?
Please include them in the intake form. I will take dietary restrictions, mobility considerations, accessibility needs, and other important requirements into account when planning.
What if I need to cancel or change dates?
The planning fee covers work already completed and is separate from supplier cancellation policies. Hotels, activities, and other booked travel components are subject to the terms of the individual supplier.
Can I spend more than the minimum trip budget?
Yes. The minimum is simply a starting point. A larger budget gives more flexibility for upgraded hotels, special experiences, spa treatments, and other memorable details.
Is airfare included?

Can I book a last-minute trip?
Not at this time. Curated Escapes require at least 14 days of lead time so there is enough time to research, book, and create the experience properly.
What happens when I decide to book a Curated Escape?
You will complete the traveler questionnaire, submit your planning fee, and receive next-step instructions. Once planning is complete, your clues and reveal materials will be prepared according to your trip timeline.
